GEORGETTE
Georgette (band, not person) combines sounds of 90’s college radio, psych, shoegaze, Dunedin sound, post-punk, and krautrock with their self-produced debut album “Bon Voyage”.
Hailing from San Francisco with Los Angeles and Seattle elements, Georgette first came together via an advert seeking musicians into Stereolab and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
One or more members of Georgette have: Opened for Galaxie 500, fIREHOSE, the Buzzcocks, and Visqueen, played in San Diego’s Chinchilla and SF bands Echo Twin and the Incidentals, engineered a recording session with Patty Schemel (of Hole), appeared in the documentary film “40 Bands in 80 Minutes”, and played every small venue in Seattle at least once.
